Forcalquier campsite Activity Program 2010 Forcalquier is an ideal starting point for exploring the Alpes de Haute Provence with activities organised all year round. Please note : the program is not contractual and is subject to change. To take part in an activity, you must book in advance at the campsite. Summer 2010 ! - 3 July to 27 August - New activities ! This year we have organised even more opportunities for you to explore the Forcalquier region, thanks to the new outdoor activities organised by the CPIE and even more suggested walks and opportunities to discover the local land and culture... There are ideas for your children and excursions for all the family... During the rest of the year, you can use our holiday ideas and suggested walks for your weekend breaks. Your Spring weekend breaks - 2 April to 2 July - Head out and explore the Forcalquier and Lure mountain regions for a weekend with our various low season holiday ideas (horse riding, walking...) For both independent and guided walks you can choose from a range of different themes (local flavours and smells, fauna, quaint Provencal villages, orienteering...) Flavours and Smells - All season - Alongside the smell of the lavender fields and the taste of a good tapenade, the Alpes de Haute Provence offers a wealth of surprises for your senses (a chance to meet local artisans, cooking courses, outdoor activities...)
