At Forcalquier Indigo Campsite***, you can rent a Wood & Canvas tent, a mobile home, or a chalet for your stay in the heart of Provence.

• Four models of "Wood and Canvas" tent are available.
  
  Designed with a wooden frame and floor, they are fully equipped. They have a living area that opens onto a wooden terrace and two separate bedrooms that can sleep up to 4 or 5 people in total. Fall asleep to the sound of the breeze on the canvas roof and wake up to the hum of cicadas. A camping experience that all the family will love!

• So that you have a peaceful holiday, the mobile homes are organised into vehicle-free 'villages': a parking area is available at the entrance to the site. They can accommodate up to 4 or 6 people, depending on the model and offer all the comfort you need.

You will also enjoy the covered, shady, wooden terrace and the fruit trees at the foot of your accommodation.

• Our chalets can accommodate up to 5 people.
  
  They have a main living area with an equipped kitchenette , 2 bedrooms , and a bathroom. Make the most of the covered terrace and garden table and chairs to enjoy relaxing dinners under the Provençal evening sky !

At the Forcalquier Indigo Campsite, you will find :

• a friendly reception area with all the information that you need for a great stay and a free Internet point
• bikes are available for hire next to the reception.
• a cosy central lodge (open all season), where you can enjoy a coffee, read a book on the region or play a board game with family and friends
• a café-restaurant where you can have a drink under the pergola of the terrace, or enjoy a salad, home-made pizza, grilled meat and Provençal meals (organised once a week in the summer). The café-restaurant is open during the May bank holiday weekends and in July and August. There is also a television so that you can watch all of the major sporting events (Tour de France, tennis, football etc.).
• for a real French breakfast, bread and croissants are available (order in advance).
• a laundry area with a washing machine.

Activities and a chance to relax on the campsite...

The Forcalquier Indigo Campsite has a heated pool (open from 22 April to 2 October) with a paddling pool for young children, so that you can make the most of the Provençal sun. The swimming pool is located close to the café-restaurant, the central lodge and the children's playground.
Deck chairs and parasols are available for your use.

You can enjoy a game of volleyball, table tennis or petanque with family and friends, and smaller children will love the children's playground.
You can also rent bikes at reception to head out and explore Haute Provence and the Forcalquier region.
 

You are also welcome to come along and relax in the central lodge, with its board games and books about the surrounding region.

The activity programme

In the summer, Forcalquier Indigo Campsite organises a simple and friendly activity programme giving you the chance to take part in some great activities on the campsite and discover the tastes and smells of Haute Provence.
 

. The children's workshops: Children's workshops are organised every weekday morning and involve activities that encourage children to develop new skills and learn and explore in a fun environment. Two workshops are organised over the course of the morning: one for 5-7 year olds and one for 8-11 year olds. This will give older children and adults the chance to join our activity leader for walks and bike rides in the Lure mountains and in the heart of the preserved natural site of Mourres.
In the daytime, you can take part in family workshops such as a Provençal cookery course on the campsite, where you will learn to make your own tapenade and anchovy paste, as well as nature-themed excursions organised by our local partners, including guided walks to discover local wildlife and a visit to the goat farm at Banon...
Don't miss our volleyball tournaments at 6 o'clock each evening and our other fun games (table tennis, etc.).
In the evening, come and join us for Provençal themed meals, evening shows (clowns, magic and storytelling), open air film nights, jazz concerts on the lovely terrace of the café-restaurant, astronomy taster evenings and more...

Visit quaint and picturesque villages… Lurs  A pleasant and peaceful little road through the beautiful hills of the Luberon region leads to the village of Lurs, perched up on a green spur above the Durance valley.   Simiane la Rotonde This magnificent little village, with its rich historical heritage and beautiful architectural landmarks dating from the Middle Ages and Renaissance is listed as a ""village of character"", and is perched on a hilltop, surrounded by fields of lavender between the Forcalquier and Luberon regions. Sigonce You will be charmed by the atmosphere in Sigonce with its pleasant little shady, flowered squares and old tastefully-restored buildings, all in a beautiful natural setting that offers some lovely walks… There are many other charming villages just waiting to be explored: Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Opède le Vieux ... And less than an hour away from the Forcalquier Indigo Campsite, you can explore the Verdon Gorges!  The Verdon, which runs along the border of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence to the South, is a magical river.
