Indigo Oléron the Pins campsite*** welcomes campers from 30 April for active holidays between sea and forest.
Set out to discover the many treasures and activities on the island of Oleron, its villages and traditional ports, and of course its beautiful beaches, which are accessible by bike from the campsite.

Welcome to Oléron Les Pins Caravan & Camping !
Oléron Les Pins Indigo Campsite*** is located in an area that is managed by the ONF (French national forestry commission) and conforms with the ONF camping charter. Camp in the midst of nature on a beautiful, natural 5 hectare site, in the heart of the national forest of St Trojan Les Bains.
Oléron Les Pins Indigo Campsite has undulating pitches in the middle of a pine forest, where you can stay with tents, caravans and motor homes. 163 pitches are located across the site.
A traditional camping pitch or a "camping +" pitch? The choice is yours.
The "camping +" pitches also have picnic tables and are in a lovely setting or are more spacious.

A motorhome service point is available on the campsite.
At Camping Indigo Oléron Les Pins, 2 fully renovated washroom blocks are available on the site as well as a washing-washing machine block. The design of the wooden shower blocks with a canvas roof means that they nestle in perfectly into the surrounding landscape.
As a blue Indigo Campsite, Oléron Les Pins*** exclusively offers Wood & Canvas tents for rent that nestle in perfectly with the natural surrounding environment. Stay by the sea in a Wood & Canvas tent and enjoy the fresh air and natural surroundings in comfort!
Wood and Canvas tents
Three models of "Wood and Canvas" tent are available at the Indigo Oléron Les Pins campsite:
Designed with a wooden floor and frame, they are fully equipped. They have a living area that opens onto a wooden terrace and two separate bedrooms that can accommodate up to 4 (Classic IV) or 5 people (Classic V/ Sweet).
Sweet Wood&Canvas Tents have a fully equiped kitchen area and 2 bedrooms. There is also a bathroom area with a shower, sink and toilet. They accommodate up to 5 people.

You can borrow sheets in situ (sheets and pillowslips) : 9,50 Euros per bed.

At Oléron Les Pins Indigo Campsite, you will find:
- A friendly reception area with all the information that you need for a great stay and a free Internet point.
- A camper's corner at reception selling a whole range of camping items (tent pegs, torches, matches, ponchos, compasses, etc.).
- A snack wagon (open during the May bank holiday weekends and in July and August) where you can have a drink on the terrace or enjoy a salad, a home-made pizza, sweet crêpes...
- Free wifi in the Snack Wagon area.
- A lobby area is open all season where you can enjoy a coffee, read a book on the region or play a board game with family and friends, ...
- For a real French breakfast, bread and croissants are available (order in advance).
- A laundry area with washing machine and dryer (tokens on sale at reception)
- A motorhome service point
- A tent hire service with 2 person "Hikers tents" for 5€/day.
- You can rent bikes just beside reception to set out and explore the island of Oléron.

Close to the campsite a range of useful services are available in the centre of the village of St Trojan Les Bains, which is easily accessible by bike :
A bakery, supermarket, bank and tourist information centre are all less than 1.5 km from the campsite.
Activities and a chance to relax on the campsite
Oléron Les Pins Indigo Campsite has a heated pool (open from 30 April to 14 September), so that you can make the most of the France sunshine. Deck chairs and parasols are available for your use on the large wooden terrace.
Would you like to swim in the ocean?
You can rent bikes at the reception of Oléron Les Pins Indigo Campsite to explore the nearby beaches, that can be reached through the national forest of St Trojan : Petite Plage beach is just 1 km from the campsite and Gatseau beach is 1.5 km away.
Games facilities are available on the campsite for you to enjoy a game with your friends and meet other campers: a petanque court, a volleyball pitch, table tennis tables and a playground for smaller children. You can also hire bikes at reception to set out and explore the island of Oléron by taking the cycle path that goes past the campsite.
The activity programme
In the summer, the Oléron Les Pins Indigo Campsite organises a friendly nature themed activity programme, to give you the opportunity to take part in some great activities on the campsite and discover Oléron Island, its wildlife and its varied range of landscapes.
The children's workshops
Every weekday morning in the summer from 05/07 to 29/08, fun, discovery, and manual activities are organized for children.
Two workshops are organised over the course of the morning: one for 5-7 year olds and one for 8-11 year olds.
In the daytime
You can enjoy family outings organised with our partners, including environmentally-friendly shellffish gathering expeditions, tours of the fish auction, a seaweed tasting discovery session.
You can also take part in a geocaching session near the campsite or an initiation into archery on the campsite.
You can also take part in our sports tournaments for a bit of friendly fun: volley ball, table tennis, mölkky…
Every week in the summer we hold the unmissable Indigo Games (Olympiads) with all sorts of challenges for you to do with family or friends.
In the evenings
Enjoy an aperitif with a difference on the wild beach of Maumusson, which can only be reached by the famous little St Trojan train or else savour grilled meal on the campsite.
Treat yourself to an evening of fun events (including clowns and magic), watch a film in the open-air cinema, enjoy a pop-rock concert on the lovely terrace of the Snack Caravan or join in the boules tournament or the games evening

Discover Oléron Island !
Oléron Les Pins Indigo campsite is located in the village of Saint Trojan les Bains, in the south of the island of Oléron. Saint-Trojan is a seaside resort as well as a port specialising in oyster farming.

The miniature train
Its miniature train allows you to discover the wild, sandy countryside and pine forests which are inaccessible by road : you can also go on a trip to Maumisson beach, the most unspoilt beach on the island
Explore the villages of St Trojan Les Bains, Oléron castle and its citadel, and Chassiron lighthouse, which is 46 m high, and has a light that can be seen from up to 52 km away. You can also visit the island's main town, Saint Pierre d'Oléron, and don't forget to stop at Fort Boyard, the majestic 'stone vessel', off the Boyardville coast, that has now become one of France's most popular national monuments.
The national forest of Saint-Trojan
The island of Oléron has a lot of forested areas, the largest being the national forest of Saint-Trojan, which borders the Oléron Indigo campsite. This pine forest covers 2,000 hectares, which is a tenth of the total surface area of the island. The flora mainly consists of maritime pine, evergreen oak and mimosas and is protected by the ONF (French National Forestry Commission).
Those that enjoy sports can go cycling along the island’s numerous cycle paths, play tennis, go horse-riding and enjoy the watersports that the island is so famous for (windsurfing, surfing, sand yachting, etc.).
You can also enjoy the opportunity to eat fresh oysters (the famous Marennes Oléron), mussels and other seafood.
